WHO IS YEMI?
I teach people about food - growing, cooking, baking, & eating. I work mostly with children and adults in special needs populations. My goal is to empower them to transform their relationship with food from seed to plate. The focus is on growing, selecting, preparing, and eating fresh foods in a manner that is simple, fun, creative, and economical. In the end, they learn to grow their own food, and to prepare incredibly tasty meals in the most nutritious way possible
I am a graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University where I received a Master’s degree in Health Education with a specialization in Nutrition Behavior and Modification.
